Meet Matthew. Avenue145 Founder and Master Stylist, Matt has been in the hair industry for over 20 years. Matthew came up from the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon on 5th Avenue when he was 21 years old, and he came with a vision. That vision was to open a salon in Westchester and was committed to building a team of like-minded talented professionals.

After eight years of working together, Matthew teamed up with fellow colleague, Christina Pestone, brought that vision to life, and opened Avenue145.

Matt is a master at his craft. With certifications in multiple brands of keratin treatments, his talent is undeniable. From Balayage and highlighting techniques, to on-trend haircuts and styling for men and women, Matthew understands that trends are continuously changing and staying up-to-date on new techniques is his responsibility to his clients; always bringing them the most current looks, leaving his chair looking and feeling good.

His positive energy is infectious. “Every day I wake up with a grateful heart no matter what, it’s just who I am. Through my personal experiences, I love to give back to anyone that crosses my path. In our industry, I believe that knowing what clients want, even when THEY don’t know what they want, is our job. From the second they walk into our salon to when they leave, a first-class experience is a must.”

Stacy O’Neill

Meet Stacy. She has over 20 dedicated, uninterrupted years behind the chair. Her career in the beauty industry started at the distinguished Bumble and Bumble salon before moving on to other prestigious salons in NYC as a means to establish a strong foundation. This helped her to perfect the skills necessary to build a happy clientele.

Stacy’s mantra is, ‘knowledge is power’, and her continuing education plays a big role in her success as a stylist. With a never-ending desire to learn, she takes classes to stay on top of all the current trends.

Stacy is certified in six different methods of hair extensions and is a BELLAMI extension specialist.

If hair determines how we feel about ourselves then Stacy’s passion for hair will make every client feel great about themselves and their vision become a reality.

Wella Brand Educator & Master Stylist/Colorist

Danielle Vasta

Meet Danielle. With over 20 years of experience servicing clients in the Westchester area, her expertise is in color, cut, and style. Taking her craft to the next level, in 2013 Danielle began working as a Wella Brand Educator. She has been a Wella Brand Educator for seven years. Education is paramount to Danielle’s artistry. She holds the title of Wella Master Color Expert, as well as having extensive cutting training through Nioxon, Wella, and Sexy Hair Concepts. Whether you desire an on-trend look or something brand new, Danielle has the talent to dazzle you from start to finish.

Jessica Nicosia

Meet Jessica. She graduated from the Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology in 2018 and joined our team shortly after, and her growth as a stylist has benefited our salon and her clients. With an ongoing desire to learn and hone her craft, Jess is now certified in BELLAMI extensions including five different techniques, and multiple different brands of keratin treatments. “I love nothing more than a color transformation. So, if you need a pop of color, I’m your girl.”

Meet Julissa. She joined our team six years ago as an assistant. After years of training under our master stylists and Wella color experts, she continues to add to her skills by taking courses in Balayage techniques and cutting and is now certified with top brands like Wella, Sebastian, BELLAMI, Brazilian blowouts, and Lasio Keratin treatments.

Her expertise in hair coloring, baby lights, haircutting, and hair extensions is top-notch! She is rapidly developing a strong clientele, and will soon be one of our next top stylists!

Silvany Sousa

Meet Silvany. She has been in the hair industry for over 20 years specializing in hair color, and haircuts for men and women. She is passionate about her clients experience and you can be sure her clients always leave with beautiful hair and a smile to match.

Meet Leila. Originally from Argentina and fluent in English and Spanish, she has been styling hair for over 15 years. Leila has worked in Manhattan for most of her career.
Specializing in natural-looking Balayage and razor haircuts, short and long, Leila enjoys developing a relationship with her clients and getting to know their needs and lifestyle so she can deliver easy-to-replicate, at-home hair care, and style.

She is extremely passionate, and always pays attention to detail!

Meet Silvana. She has been in the hair industry for decades. She is dedicated to her profession and is committed to providing an excellent client experience. Her passion is evident in the creativity she brings to her hair coloring and hair cutting for both men and women. Her main goal is to present all her clients with a look and style that fits their lifestyle.

Meet Emily. Since graduating from cosmetology school two years ago Emily has been a part of our team for over a year as an assistant, with aspirations to become a stylist. She has a passion for hair coloring and hair extensions and she is a BELLAMI certified professional in five different extension methods. She is a quick learner and her skills are undeniable.
